There are many reasons to practice yoga, and everyone will get a different experience from it.

The practice of yoga is much more than the fulfillment of a new posture. It is above all to be anchored in the present moment and to be one with our breath. In reality, one may practice yoga without performing any specific posture!

Take part in one of our classes to deepen your practice and/or discover the many benefits of yoga.

Yoga promotes stretching, toning, and strengthening of the body, as well as proper breathing, relaxation techniques, and meditation.

Yoga is for everyone.

In a world where we are encouraged to push beyond our limits, yoga teaches us to underachieve, because only when underachieving can we focus on our breath and reconnect with our inner self.

Covid-19

Due to COVID-19, we have temporarily suspended our yoga classes until further notice. In the meantime, we will continue to monitor the Ministry of Health COVID-19 guidance to ensure your safety once we are ready to resume classes.

Styles of Yoga Offered

Hatha: 60 minute sequence consisting of a wide variety of Hatha postures (balance postures, warrior sequence, forward folds, back bends and relaxation postures) promoting increased flexibility, stress reduction and a sentiment of well-being. No previous experience required (beginner, intermediate and advanced students are welcome).

Power: 60 minute sequence consisting of Hatha postures at a faster tempo than the Hatha Yoga class. More challenging postures are also incorporated for increased flexibility, toning and strengthening of your body. Class recommended to students with previous yoga experience (intermediate and advanced students are welcome).

Yin: Gentle 60 minute sequence of long-held (2-5 minutes) relaxed floor postures to increase the elasticity of the deep connective tissues, promoting increased flexibility, stress reduction and a sentiment of well-being. No previous experience required (beginner, intermediate and advanced students are welcome). Note: You will need two yoga blocks and a bolster to participate in this class.

Vin-Yin: 60 minute sequence consisting of Hatha and Yin postures. Enjoy a combination of active flow and grounding poses. No previous experience required (beginner, intermediate and advanced students are welcome). Note: You will need two yoga blocks to participate in this class.
